5.1 Surround Processor System without Headphone

Headzone® Home – stunning surround sound with headphones

Headzone® Home provides a stunning virtual surround sound listening environment by using headphones. With Headzone® Home, the entire acoustic setup of a 5.1 surround speaker system is accurately reproduced.

Headzone® Home is a plug & play system – simply connect the system via the supplied digital cable to a receiver, DVD/Blu-ray player, PC or games console and you are ready to go.

The Headzone® Home Base Station H 1 has been designed to work with all dynamic stereo headphones. However, for the best audio results, try using either the beyerdynamic model DT 880 or T 1.

Note: When playing Blu-ray discs with the new audio formats Dolby Digital Plus / Dolby True HD / DTS-HD Master Audio, the Blu-ray player transmits the separately contained surround "core" via the S/PDIF output. Thus, Headzone® Home provides about twice the resolution as known from conventional audio formats.
